Overview

South Euclid-Lyndhurst was a great opportunity for Laketec and Avaya to demonstrate the full capabilities of shortest path bridging (SPB) combined with a Server Edition phone system deployed across a campus environment.  The switch fabric has given the district’s network unparalleled speed and reliability while reducing the management time for Administrators when changes are necessary.  SEL is a banner example of what Software Defined Networking can do when properly designed, deployed, and supported.

With our new network, we’re finding that it’s very easy to provision a new application. Instead of configuring all the switches individually, we only have to make the change once at the edge. So it takes hours, rather than weeks.
