Nelson stud is a leading edge manufacturing firm that requires state of the art voice communications along with unified messaging. Laketec has accomplished those requirements through the design, implementation and support of the Avaya IP Office platform. Nelson Stud currently has the latest release, Server Edition Platform. The highlight of that release and implementation is that it guarantees redundancy utilizing VM Ware software. This deployment is a great example of a communication system that has been properly deployed and well maintained by an in house IT team with our support.
I can always count on Laketec to deliver when it is most important. Having multiple sites and entities, along with the need to be operational 24/7 in most cases, presents challenges. Our staff is quite lean, therefore we rely on Laketec for the majority of our voice needs. This was system was cut during a Thanksgiving weekend where all 19 sites were upgraded with new Gateways, without downtime or interruption to their operation. This required a great deal of coordination between companies and frankly, a lot of faith from the customer. In the end, Nelson Stud is a great customer and we are proud to consider them a showcase of the Avaya product and Laketec’s ability to deliver in all circumstances.
