Richard Burns brings over three decades of executive leadership across sales, marketing, operations, technology, finance, strategic planning, and organizational development. Currently serving as CFO at FocusCFO in Northeast Ohio, he specializes in guiding small and mid-sized businesses toward stronger financial performance, sustainable growth, and strategic positioning for exit or expansion. Over the years, Richard has stepped into roles as a fractional CFO, President, GM, COO, and head of Sales & Marketing, consistently improving cash flow, optimizing operations, and shaping organizations for long-term success. He holds a Bachelor’s in Plastics Engineering from Lowell Technological Institute and a Master’s in Engineering Management from Northeastern University.
