Recently, a customer called our Sales Manager in a panic. While doing their Exchange 2007 migration they ran into a significant problem which brought down the system. We dispatched two high level Network Engineers within two hours and got the customer back up and running. - November 2008

 

Together We Can Do Anything!

 

On December 14th Laketec partnered with our customer CMHA and Toys for Tots to deliver toys to 200 children in Cleveland. This event was lead by our Office Manager (Victoria DehMalo) who did an outstanding job organizing many Laketec volunteers. We Keep Our Promises

 

Network Engineer Ben Sterley exemplified what it is to keep a promise recently. A customer starting a brand new business at two location simultaneously pulled all of her employees to one branch to receive training on the Hosted Exchange solution they had purchased from us. Ben had a bad case of food poisoning that morning. Knowing that he was the only one available to do the training, and the difficult situation the customer would be in if had to be rescheduled, Ben performed the training class and even installed two new workstations without the customer knowing anything was wrong.

Relentless Pursuit of Knowledge

 

Help Desk Coordinator Carrie Hale recently passed the hardware portion of the A+ Certification course. As a Help Desk Coordinator she feels this certification will help her to better understand, and more quickly triage our customers needs.

Engineer Rob Rush has successfully completed AVST Voicemail Training this month. Four additional engineers are on track to attain Cisco Certifications by the end of this quarter. - Q4 2008

 

Responsible Profitability

 

Sales and Marketing Manager Chris Fedor has long history of saving his customers money in this industry. Recently he has developed several cost savings analysis documents focused around strategies like virtualization, intelligent power management, and printer management. We expect these strategies to save our customers tens of thousands as they are implemented in 2009.
